Celebrating Hubby’s Birthday

If you aren’t familiar with Jeanne Robertson, go to your YouTube and have a laughing good time. She’s the funniest lady. She told that the first video they made was just a random thing they did in the office one day. Her assistant posted it. It took off. The little boy next door came running over calling, “Mrs. Robertson, Mrs. Robertson. Mama said you was viral. I don’t think you should go outside!”
She’s exactly our age, and so was the audience. She’s squeaky-clean, rated G. (All the young folks were next door at the rated X horror cinema.) What I like about her is that she doesn’t tell jokes. She just tells stories of things that happen in life. Really, people are that funny! Jeanne is so unimpressed with herself that she’s able to laugh at herself, too.
A sample of her humor:

I’m so glad Dave decided to treat himself, and me. We were sitting in the 6th row orchestra, dead center. She was practically sitting in our laps! If I’d bought the tickets, we would have needed opry glasses from the second balcony. But it’s his birthday, his money, his pleasure. And it was a real good time. We’re relieved to see him laughing and enjoying life again in time for his birthday.
