Conferences brush over the business end while saying how important it is for authors to be business-minded. Conferences warn us to read our contracts but what conference workshop takes apart a contract to show us how to dissect it?
Have any of you attended any conferences that dig into the business, beyond the need for social media marketing to show you how to actually do it in a valuable way? We all need to understand the business, how to fit into it, how to use the tools optimally. What conferences have you attended that showed you how to do that?
I’ll be deciding where to go in 2015. I’d like to really get my money’s worth paying for expanded knowledge and useful information in addition to having a good time. Surely I’m not the only one who wants and needs to know these things. Who can tell us where to go?
